Forty artists provided 70 pieces of art in this surprisingly competitive show. We looked at over 250 pieces of art on jury day, wonderful art, all different kinds of art, big art, little art, challenging art.
This week, while I was recovering from the Reader's Art opening, David Luke hung the show. He did a marvelous job.
The opening was well attended. these shots were taken toward the waning end of the night. A great time was had by all.
murmurs, by Minneapolis artist Debora Miller, is a subtle joy, inside and out. From inside the gallery you can peer in the twin peep holes to see the murmuring of spring.
At night, from outside, shadows of trees hover in the mid-distance of the window.
During the day, nature's own trees reflect and blend their movement with the images on the transparencies.
Beatrice Coron is a marvelous paper cutting artist, represented in Reader's Art 10 by Les Voiles. There is a marvelous article about her in the Daily Art Muse
